XPart adds its 250th UK AutoService centre
The XPart AutoService centre network offers high quality parts and servicing for MG Rover vehicles at affordable rates. The addition of its 250th AutoService centre makes the network one of the largest service and repair franchises in the UK.
MG Rover and New MINI owners now have even wider access to specialist service and repair at competitive prices following the addition of the 250th garage to XPart’s AutoService centre network. The network has grown from one to 250 in just three years, and the appointment of Leeford Motor Company in central Leeds makes the network one of the largest service and repair franchises in the country.
“The addition of the 250th AutoService centre is a sign of our ongoing commitment to providing the 1.3m MG Rover owners in the UK with high quality parts and servicing for their cars at affordable rates,” comments Don Lindsay, service marketing manager, XPart. “We also have a growing number of New MINI AutoService centres, which provide an affordable servicing and parts alternative while guaranteeing expert technical support.”
The specialist network was originally designed to provide MG Rover owners with a high quality service option after the collapse of MG Rover in 2005. Building on its initial success, XPart began recruiting specialist New MINI service centres to its network earlier this year. This is ideal timing for many New MINI owners whose five-year TLC extended warranty packages are now coming to an end.
Since joining the XPart AutoService centre network, Leeford Motor Company has become the only New MINI specialist in Leeds. “With 34 years in the business we’re pleased to be adding New MINI servicing to our existing service offering,” comments proprietor Graham Ford. “Many of the New MINI dealer care packages are coming to an end now, and owners are keen to take advantage of a high-quality, affordable alternative to main dealer servicing.”
“While we have reached a key milestone in the development of the network, we will continue to expand further,” explains Lindsay. “We will continue to grow the network in order to offer MG Rover and New MINI owners the best servicing for their vehicles.”
XPart is a wholly owned subsidiary of Caterpillar Logistics Services UK Limited, one of the automotive industry’s leading supply chain management companies. It has established a network of more than 240 XPart AutoService centres across the UK, providing franchise-quality repair at aftermarket rates. Its product range contains more than 35,000 parts for all makes of vehicle and since 2001 it has been responsible for the supply of genuine MG Rover parts (www.xpart.com).
