XPart drives traffic to its AutoService centres
Nearest New Mini, MG and Rover specialists just clicks away
Garages within XPart’s AutoService centre network can expect greater numbers of customer enquiries following further investment in its website, www.xpart.com. Aimed at consumer audiences, it now incorporates a fresh design to reflect the expanded services offered by the company, as well as a new centre locator for its 240 garages across the UK. The changes will allow visitors to identify their nearest MG Rover or New Mini specialist or their closest parts wholesaler even more quickly and easily than before.
“The new website will ensure motorists can find their most appropriate XPart AutoService centre much more easily,” explains Don Lindsay, service marketing manager, XPart. “With developments such as our New Mini specialists, we now provide a much broader range of services than when the website was originally launched. The new site reflects these additions and directs customers to their closest centre by type, giving location maps and directions.”
As well as giving the locations of its AutoService centres, the new website also provides details of XPart’s 110 MG Rover parts wholesalers. The wholesalers continue to offer ‘genuine’ MG Rover parts to owners who wish to purchase parts directly and then carry out repairs themselves.
In addition to the design enhancements, XPart has also revised its website strategy. “Under the old system we held a number of different sites, each with their own unique purpose and audience,” explains Lindsay. “These continue to operate under the new site but have now been incorporated within our main portal, www.xpart.com. This will allow us to promote the site more effectively and ensure that all visitors to XPart’s websites can find exactly what they need in one central location. Any future development can also be incorporated much more easily.”
XPart is a wholly owned subsidiary of Caterpillar Logistics Services UK Limited, one of the automotive industry's leading supply chain management companies.
